Father and Daughter walk for charity.
In April last year Alan Chambers a past master of Tynte Lodge No7994, had open heart surgery after he collapsed at the Bridgwater Lodges combined ladies weekend in Torquay.
On 17 May, together with his daughter, Claire, he undertook the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge- a 26 km walk from Corfe Castle and raised £2000 for the British Heart Foundation
Alan said “about £1500 came from the masons – both personal donations and from several lodges and I’m very pleased with the money raised for this good cause.
It was a tough walk in the heat but worth it”
