All provided by our regular and local caterer, Martin Felstead (Greenway Farm). style=\"text-align: center\">When Alan heard that his friend&#8217;s 15-year-old daughter had been diagnosed with Thyroid cancer and would need to spend three weeks isolated in the Royal Marsden Hospital for radiotherapy treatment, he thought she would need something to entertain herself, keep in touch with friends &amp; family and to continue with her studies.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0An iPad would be the perfect solution. style=\"font-size: large\"><b>On 17 May,            together with his daughter, Claire, he undertook the Jurassic            Coast Ultra Challenge- a 26 km walk from Corfe Castle and            raised Somerset Hospice<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><u><strong>23rd March 2022\n<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Members of the Tynte Lodge in Bridgwater recently donated the magnificent sum of \u00a3600 to assist St Margarets Somerset Hospice,<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">with their efforts to recover from lost funding during the Covid Lockdown.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">The Hospice were forced to close many of their retail outlets due to Covid, and consequently their income was seriously affected.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Members of Tynte Lodge heard about the problem and visited the Hospice Retail and Logistics Centre<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">where they donated the entire proceeds of a recent dinner to celebrate<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Burns Night.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">During the visit,<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">they learned that St Margarets are very keen to hear from anyone who might have large items of furniture etc.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">that can be donated to help with fundraising.
